Jennifer White is a writer, singer, and music educator who began her career as a jazz vocalist, but left performance for the safety of teaching. After watching many of her most gifted students leave performing as well, Jennifer realized that the common transition method of “sink or swim” was not a viable way to help young artists succeed after college. She dreamed of finding a way to gather the knowledge of successful musicians and disseminate it to young players coming up, creating a community where working musicians could encourage and advise each other as they moved through this challenging field. MusicMakers Workshop is the result.
