Licensed music for album and soundtrack use for major record label, Capitol EMI Records, in addition to handling all aspects of process of taking an album through idea stage to production, distribution, marketing and customer/client relations. Became Director of Music Licensing for two film studios, Universal and Paramount, responsible for management of licensed music used in TV productions. After ten years working for the studios, started an independent consulting business providing assistance and expertise in licensing and music division start-ups to individuals and companies. Then returned to the Studios and managed a long term special project for NBC Universal’s merger, involving extensive contract research and analysis and establishment of a new custom database system to handle legal and music rights information. In 2006, moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta, GA and currently work for Turner Broadcasting, handling music clearance, and licensing administration for On-Air Promos for all of Turner’s networks: TNT, TBS, TCM, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, Turner Sports, NBA-TV, NCAA, TruTV and International networks; plus commercial music used within programming for various series/TV movies on the TNT network. Also have produced and organized artist showcases at Turner for employees.

Guest Speaker/Panelist on a regular basis at Entertainment Industry events, conventions, film festivals and conferences, radio shows and universities. Speak to audiences on expertise in the area of music clearance and licensing.

Also involved with many community volunteer activities. Formerly on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Opera League, in charge of Community Education and Outreach and also opera artist showcases. Also served as a judge regularly at singing competitions in Atlanta, “Who’s Got That Vibe” and “Stars of Tomorrow.” Served as an officer for several years with Toastmasters International and have achieved advanced certifications in public speaking and leadership.
