The Edward F. Albee Foundation Residency

Eligibility: Using only talent and need as the criteria for selection, the Foundation invites any and all emerging to late career artists to apply.

 

Session: 4 – 6 week sessions from mid-May – October

 

Description: The Edward F. Albee Foundation exists to serve writers, visual artists, and composers from all walks of life, by providing time and space in which to work without disturbance. Writers and composers receive a large bedroom equipped with a desk, bed and dresser. The environment is simple and communal and all residents are expected to do their share in maintaining the condition of “The Barn” as well as its peaceful environment. All residents are responsible for their food, travel and other expenses.
