AGMA RELIEF FUND

AGMA contracts with The Actors Fund to administer this program nationally as well as to provide comprehensive social services. Any AGMA member in good standing is entitled and encouraged to apply for financial assistance through the AGMA Relief Fund. Grants are awarded on a case-by-case basis, based on need. AGMA is aware of the major effects resonating in the performance sector regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. They are deeply saddened that it is resulting in loss of work and moneys due to theatre closures and travel restrictions. They know that many of our artists, especially soloists, travel extensively and have been affected by this crisis. Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical need.  This program has no deadlines. The program does not consider requests for dental work, chronic situations, capital improvements, or projects of any kind; nor can it consider situations resulting from general indebtedness or lack of employment. Boston Music Maker Relief Fund

As of Thursday March 12th The Record Co. has established a fund to provide financial relief to Boston area music makers experiencing lost income as the result of performance cancellations related to COVID-19. Small grants of up to $200 will be paid rapidly on a first come, first served basis to affected artists and groups. Please see grant guidelines below. Donations will be accepted from individuals and corporations in order to replenish the fund and continue making payments to eligible music makers in the queue. The Record Co. is covering all admin/processing costs so 100% of every donation goes directly to music makers in the community.
