Austria, Empire. An Order Of Franz Joseph, Miniature, C.1910 Hold Instituted 11 August 1914 by(Kaiserlich sterreischischer Franz Joseph Orden). Instituted in 1849. Three piece construction, in silver with red and white enamels, measuring 14. 5 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), flaking evident in the red enamels on the arm at 12 o'clock on the reverse, otherwise the enamels are intact, on its original triangular war ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of Franz Joseph was instituted on December 2, 1849 and awarded for military and civil merit,
