Amy Pugh is a dynamic executive known for a specialized collaborative and consultative stylistic approach with clients. She boasts over 13 years of experience in key facets of business, management, planning, and implementation for start-ups through Fortune 500 accounts.
While at Universal Music Group, Amy was the head of all digital sales and marketing initiatives for Universal Music Classics, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, Mercury Classics and ECM labels. In that capacity, she was responsible for evaluating and executing campaigns and strategies to drive revenue across full digital partner base representing a portfolio of over $15 million in revenue across label releases. A portion of her digital partner base included: iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Vevo, YouTube, HD Tracks, Pro Studio Masters, RDIO, Rhapsody, and Microsoft (among many others).
Amy also oversaw the social media team responsible for executing all digital advertising plans, social media campaigns at artist and label level across all major social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.); educating all artists on social media best practices; and securing artist visits for additional promotional support across the digital partner base.
Amy Pugh is currently the founder of Talisman Strategies. Talisman Strategies helps clients with digital marketing, digital sales, album/EP/Single rollout plans, social media, advertising, business development, digital strategy and overall business initiatives and goals. The current roster includes indie music artists, e-commerce and music aggregation companies and start-ups.
