Program: New Works Residency Program

 

Discipline: multiple channel audio or video installations, interactive performance systems, data visualization or projects involving hardware hacking, circuit bending or custom built interfaces, as well as projects that use the web.

 

Eligibility: Individual working artists with proposals for new work only; Groups and ensembles are not eligible; Students who are currently enrolled are not eligible; Applicants must reside in the U.S., and recipients from the past 2 years are not eligible.

Session: December-September

 

Description: The New Works Residency Program offers commissions of up to $5000 to make a new work in our state of the art digital media facility. The artist works with a project manager, engineer and programmer (if required). Additionally the Jerome Foundation Creative Residency Program will support six emerging artists residing in NYC.
